Dec 15-21; Jack

Here is what happens when it is below zero outside, you are bored and you have not taken any pictures for the week. Not really in the same holiday spirit as Wally.

Dec 15-21 Wally

Seasons Greetings
This large decorated tree sits on a bluff over looking Cedar Ave not too far from the Mall of America. We have enjoyed it every Christmas season so I finally tracked it down and took this picture.

Far from the madding crowd........

What a difference a week makes. Last Sunday, during the sand sculptures, there were about 60 boats and thousands of people wandering along the beach. Now with the temperature in the 60's instead of low 80's it takes on a whole different look.

Nov 10-16; Jack

Minnehaha Falls, Minneapolis

Aha!

You think Sarah Palin is the only one who can go rougue? Here's a picture I took while Wally was wimping out in the condo, sick or something.

Oct 27-Nov 2; Jack

This won't make the cover of Sports Illustrated, however I am fairly happy how it turned out. I have decided if I am going to be a photo geek I might as well take my camera to places I have not in the past. This is from the Vikings and Houston Texans game on Sunday. I have some shots of the cheerleaders that Wally probably would have preferred.

October 27 - November 2 Wally Heading South

One thing I always have to do is take pictures of the clothes I leave here for the winter so next spring I don't have to carry too much stuff back on the trip home to Minnesota.

October 6-12 Wally

In Millennium Park, Chicago, is the Cloud Gate structure by Anish Kapoor. It is known locally as the Bean. We were lucky to be there on a beautiful sunny day which really showed off the Bean's ability to reflect the surrounding buildings.

Oct 6 - 12; Jack

I went on a road trip today looking for fall foliage and roadside attractions and found some old cars instead. I liked several of the shots, however decided on this one.
